Ribbon or Lace Mid Challenge Reminder

Welcome back to Crafty Boots Challenges, where it is time for our mid challenge reminder. Our current challenge is 'Ribbon or Lace'. We have had some fabulous entries for this challenge and, as always, the Design Team are really enjoying seeing them.

The winners of this Challenge will be given the opportunity to be featured in a future challenge as a Guest Designers. Lisa won our recent 'Spots or Dots' Challenge, as you can see Lisa is a very talented card maker. Pop over to her blog to see more of her lovely work.

I have been crafting since 1991. I started out learning 3D decoupage and made mainly pictures. There was no die cutting in those days so I used to cut out each layer with a craft knife, one picture took me 22 hours! I played around a bit with rubber stamping and colouring, but found that the lack of tools available back then hindered a good result. A few years ago I discovered die cuts and chalk. Then I met a lovely lady who introduced me to Promarkers and the wonderful world of Digi Stamps and encouraged me to have another go at colouring. I have never looked back. I love colouring both digi and rubber stamps and experimenting with colours.

The fabulous ladies from our Design Team have also been busy this week ......

Snow and Sparkle Mid Challenge Reminder

It is time for our mid challenge reminder here at Crafty Boots Challenges, the current theme is 'Snow and Sparkle'. We have received some fabulous entries so far, which we are really enjoying.

The winners of this Challenge will be given the opportunity to be featured in a future challenge as a Guest Designers. Cicci. Steffi and Pat were all winners of our recent 'Autumn and Halloween' Challenge. It almost goes without saying that they are all very talented card makers, check out their blogs.

Cicci

My name is Cecilia Gunnarsson and I live in Sweden with my family - 3 Boys and a Big Dog.  When I am not colouring with my Copics I work as a guitar teacher, it is a great job!  I started to colour with Copics about 2 years ago, I LOVE these markers.  Right Now I am a Dt at TTCRD (the Magazine for crafty people) and it's so much fun.  I have drawn and coloured since a was little, now am 40 years old, how time flies!

It's a great thing to be GDT here at your lovely place.  Thank you for letting me be a part of this challenge "Snow and Sparkle".  I have chosen this lovely image from Mo Manning that I coloured with Copics markers...

Steffi

My Name ist Stephanie, I´m 42 years old, live in Germany with my husband and our two kids. I first came across rubber stamps 20 years ago on a vacation in Florida. I totally fall in love with embossing, glitter and coloring images. Mostly I make cards, but I also like to design gifts and boxes. To color my images I use Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolorpens.

I´m really proud to be a guest designer here at Crafty Boots, thank you for giving me the chance to show one of my cards.

Hi, my name is Pat K. Thank you so much for having me as your GD this week. My love for colouring started with watercolours but when I discovered Copics I never looked back. My passion for paper has resulted in a very large collection and now it looks like dies are a close second! Digital stamps are my favourite, mostly for their convenience. My style is rather eclectic….one day I love CAS and the next I want to go all fussy and fancy…depending on the image or the recipient. I hope you enjoy my creation today. Hugs, Pat K.

It may have been a holiday here in the UK but our Design Team has still found a few minutes to make some inspirational
